Do's & Don'ts when under Homoeopathic Treatment :
*Keep the medicines in a cool, dark, and dry place away from odor items. Do not expose your medicine to sunlight, magnets or strong smelling odors..
*Avoid taking food immediately before or after medication. It should be dissolved on a clean tongue, when the mouth is free from any other flavored things like tobacco, garlic, onion, ginger, cigarette, pan, gutkha, minty toothpaste, camphor, coffee etc.Strong smell or taste may interfere with the drug action.
*The Half-an-hour rule -
Do not eat or drink anything before and after half an hour of taking medicine. This means that if you want to take medicine at 8 o'clock, do not consume anything from 7.30 to 8, take the medicine at 8 o'clock and then do not consume anything at 8.30. The only exception to this rule is water. Drinking water five minutes before or after taking the drug is acceptable.
*Once you are following the half-hour rule, then if u feel like , you can eat raw onions, garlic, ginger and other strong-smelling substances along with homeopathic medicines.
*If you have recently handled a substance with a strong odor, avoid touching the medicine with your hands. They should be tipped in a container cap or clean paper or a clean spoon and dropped into the mouth to avoid contamination of the drug.
*To achieve the best absorption, tablets or globules must be chewed or sucked, not swallowed whole. While taking the drops, pour them in a spoon or a glass containing some water which is possible. Keep this solution in the mouth for a few seconds before swallowing.
